Ubiquity AirGrid M5 is a complete system of radio 802.11a / n 1x1 MIMO reserved for the 5GHz band. Used a solution InnerFeed made it possible to integrate radiator grid antenna with radio module and the router / Access Point. The antenna is characterized by a 23dBi gain, the power is 20dBm radio module. This allows a wireless connection on the distance in excess of 30km. Application 802.11n 1x1 MIMO allows the achievement of real bandwidth TCP / IP of up to 100Mbps.

AirGrid M5 works in Router or Bridge mode. The interface supports WiFi Access Point mode, WDS Access Point, Client, WDS Client. AirGrid cooperates with the platform-based system RotuerOS MikroTik.

The device is equipped with Atheros MIPS 24KC processor clocked at 400MHz, 32MB SDRAM, 8MB Flash, and a 10/100Mbps Ethernet port. Powered by a passive PoE. Power supply to the PoE adapter is supplied complete. Received signal strength WiFi is presented using four LEDs, which can be attributed to identifying an appropriate signal level. Built-in surge protection / ESD device extends trouble-free operation exposed the adverse impact of external conditions.

The device is compatible with the protocol AirMax, which eliminates the problem of hidden stations by allocating devices timeslots (TDMA,), which enables transmission without collision. This allows maximum use of bandwidth, even when dozens of client stations connected to the Access Point.

Included is a mounting bracket to allow installation antenna on the mast.

AirGrid is designed for efficient compilation of wireless bridges, or as a set of client at considerable distances from the base station.
